I am teaching two new felting workshops in September and October that many of you will find fun and interesting:

    1. Making a Nuno Felt Shawl

You can sign up for this workshop on the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) class listings page on the web. Nuno felting is a Japanese felting technique which involves combining silk and wool. We will have enough time in this workshop to learn nuno felting techniques and apply what you have learned to make a beautiful wool and silk laminated shawl!

    2. Gossamer Shawl Workshop
      Worcester Art Museum

      Saturday October 10, 2009 only

      Phone: 508.793.4333 or 508.793.4334

Nuno Felting is the process of felting wool onto lightweight sheer silk or cotton.  This class focuses on the Japanese technique of making lovely garmets.  You will use wool, yarn, or ribbon to create a uniqe felted shawl.

Please find the Worcester Art Museum catalog here and use the form at the end of the brochure to sign up for the course.  You will need to fax or send in your registration form.  I look forward to seeing you there.
