B. Felt is a family-run, new resource for felters and felting fans to find out about the current changes in felting, to keep up their understanding of new techniques and materials, and to see pictures of the beautiful felt creations that we all love. It will also document my work as an artist, moving from the medium of paint to the medium of felt.
Here on B. Felt, you'll be able to find pictures of my latest handmade wool felt art wear, but also links to other felting artists that I feel produce impressive work. At my Etsy Store, you'll be able to find felting supplies, felting kits, and also be able to purchase beautiful felted items, such as slippers, scarves, hats, handbags and shawls.
You'll also look up s classes that I teach at Bead and Fiber, the Boston Center for Adult Eduction and The Worcester Art Museum.
Who is B. Felt:
Barbara Poole: Contemporary Felt Artist and Figurative Painter. The brains and brawn in the operation, she's the one who designs and makes all of the beautiful felted garments that you see on the website. She has a Masters in Art Education from the Mass. College of Art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Museum of Fine Arts School and Tufts University. She began working with felt in 2005 and loves the magic of the medium, where all one needs is water, soap, and a little elbow grease.

Ralph Poole: Web Master, Business Manager The man who created this website, and continues to keep it up. He works to ensure that this website is always up and running, and continually available for your use. He is a business consultant specializing in Web 2.0 applications, knowledge management, information architecture and taxonomy. He is the founder and president of Coherence Group, Inc.
