Felt Making Classes

At the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE), I will be giving the following classes from January 2010 through April 2010.  These classes are very popular so sign up now!  The BCAE has a wonderful big space for my class, making this  a great place to learn how to felt:

For those of you who would like to create 3D objects with felt, I am teaching a 6 week course a the Worcester Art Museum called: A Felting Frenzy from Flat to 3D.  The course will occur from February 24 through March 31, 2010 on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

A Felting Frenzy from Flat to 3D focuses on process for the first three weeks of this exciting hands-on class. You will create samples of different felting methods--wet felting, resists, inlays, needle felting, seamless felting, protuberances, mixed media and embellishments. The last three weeks are devoted to individual projects that incorporate any of the techniques learned. No previous felting experience needed. Includes most materials.    CEUs: 18.00  Hours: 18.00
